Forest Experiments Herald is a scientific journal of the Faculty
of Forestry, University of Zagreb.
What are we?
Forest Experiments Herald publishes the scientific research
results, doctoral and master's theses, and significant studies
from the fields of forestry. The publication plays a major role
in conveying the results achieved by Croatian forestry sciences
to the specialist public in the country and abroad.
The sign of the herald is ISSN 0352-3861, UDK 630. The journal is
published as a year-book with a circulation of one thousand.

The publisher of the Forest Experiments Herald is the Faculty of
Forestry of Zagreb University. Financial support is given by the
Ministry of science and technology of the Republic of Croatia,
and by Croatian Forests, public enterprise for management of
forests and forestlands in the Republic of Croatia.
Tradition
Forest Experiments Herald has been published continuously since
1926. In the passed seventy years (1926-1996) there were thirty-
two regular year-books and four special editions. They contain
383 studies by 143 authors on 12,713 pages.
Who are our readers?
Forest Experiments Herald is read by subscribers in Croatia and
abroad, and is exchanged with home and foreign journals of 242
institutions in 64 countries.
What are our reference publications?
Forestry Experiments Herald is referred by three secondary
publications: Forestry Abstracts, CAB International- Wallingford
(UK), and Geobase, Elsevier Science Ltd. and Bibliographie der
Pflanzenschutzliteratur, Biologische Bundesanstalt fur Forstwirtschaft,
